How do I know if my bra fits?
Your bra should be snug enough that it does not ride up in the back and all your breast tissue should be inside the cup. If your bra has wires, the center piece should rest on your skin or very close to it. Most women are wearing a bra that is too large around (meaning the band size or number) and too small in the cup (meaning the letter).
When should I buy a nursing bra?
Whenever you are no longer comfortable in your regular bras. Usually this ranges between beginning of pregnancy and 30 weeks of pregnancy. Nursing bras should allow for changes in your body.
If I know my size, can't I just order it online?
Sadly, there is no consistency in bra sizing, just like most of women's clothing! Since the shape, fabric, and cut of the bra can all affect what size you wear, you can never be sure that a bra will fit unless you try it on. It takes most women between 10-15 try-ons to find a really great fit. We believe that having an expert help you with the fit means you will love your new bra and the comfort it will provide!
Do I need a special occasion bra or corset for a wedding dress?
Yes, you will probably need a special bra or corset to wear under a wedding gown. You should purchase your bra soon after you decide on the dress. Everyone must have their bra before alterations are done!
How should I care for my bra?
Ideally, bras should be hand washed and hung to dry. They can be machine washed on delicate using a mesh bag. Remember, always hang your bras to dry! Machine washing and drying bras without care will cause them to wear out very quickly!
What should I expect when I come in for a fitting?
We will ask you a few questions to determine what you're shopping for, take measurements, and then we will select bras for you to begin trying on. We check the fit for you and adjust straps, and then try additional styles as needed until we get a great fit!
